This Policy covers the Website and related communications.
Software, customer accounts, and technical support are covered by the Privacy Policy of NCP engineering GmbH to be found at www.ncp-e.com.
Information you provide
Depending on how you interact with us, we collect:
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, www.ncp-e.net collects session data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring pages, pages viewed, and timestamps through server logs, cookies, and other technologies actually used.
Information from other sources
From time to time, other sources of personal information may be distributors, resellers, business or media partners, or public sources.
We use personal information for the following purposes, as applicable to your interactions with us:
This website currently uses no cookies. We also share information about your use of our site with our social media, advertising and analytics partners who may combine it with other information that you’ve provided to them or that they’ve collected from your use of their services.
We use Matomo for web analysis to obtain information about the user behavior of visitors to our website. The information collected helps us to optimize our website and to better adapt it to the interests and needs of our visitors.
Matomo is configured in a privacy-friendly way and does not use cookies. The software runs exclusively on our website servers in the US. Matomo data is only stored in this location. This data will not be forwarded to third parties.
The software is set up in such a way that the IP addresses are anonymized and not stored completely. It is not possible to identify the remote computer from this shortened IP address. Data collection, processing and storage may be objected to at any time. Opt out of website tracking with Matomo.
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on our website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as confirmation that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Additional data is not collected or only collected on a voluntary basis (for example, title, first name, last name, country, company, etc.). We only use this data to send the requested information and do not forward it to third parties.
The use of the newsletter service, analytic monitoring and logging the registration process are based on our legitimate interests. We have implemented a user-friendly and secure newsletter system that serves our business interests, including direct marketing, as well as meeting users' expectations.
Subscriptions to the newsletter are logged to record the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes the storage of the registration time as well as the IP address. Changes to stored personal data are also logged.
Employees of NCP can access the data when managing the newsletter service. You may cancel your subscription by using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.
Service providers who support us in distributing our newsletter may have access to your data. However, these service providers are obliged by data processing agreements (DPA) not to use this data for their own purposes.
When sending a newsletter via the internet, forwarding data via servers in other countries cannot be ruled out. Neither NCP nor our service provider have any influence on the routing.
We use Evalanche to send and manage our newsletter. Evalanche is an analysis service provided by SC Networks GmbH, Würmstraße 4, 82319 Starnberg, Germany.
It is not intended to transfer data to third countries. The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. Your email address will therefore be stored for as long as the subscription to newsletter is active.
Evalanche uses cookies which are text files stored on your computer that help us to analyze how you use our newsletter. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the newsletter (including your IP address) will be read and sent to a server in Germany.
The newsletter uses pixel tracking. This is a miniature graphic that shows us whether you have opened a newsletter or not. In the retrieval process, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, the device used and the mail client, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval, are collected. This information is used to improve our service based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behavior based on retrieval location (which can be determined with the IP address) or access times.
Analytics data also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened, which links are clicked and whether the delivery of the emails was successful. Reading time is also recorded but this is only done on a target group basis. Although this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients for technical reasons, it is not our intention to record the behavior of individual users. Rather, the data collected help us to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to their interests.
If you have not deactivated tracking, a personal user profile will be created based on your data in order to better adapt websites and newsletters about our products and services to your needs. This allows NCP to send you information that corresponds to your specific interests. Furthermore, you agree that your usage data on websites and in connection with all e-mails from NCP will be collected through the use of cookies and tracking technology. You have the option of withdrawing your consent to tracking in each newsletter by using the deactivate tracking link.

Our server contacts the Friendly Captcha server via an interface and receives a response as to whether the task has been correctly solved by the end device. Depending on the result, requests via our website are either processed or rejected.
The data will only be used for protecting our website against spam and bots as described above. Friendly Captcha does not set or read cookies on the visitor’s end device.
